Technology Innovate promotes novel innovations in effort to accelerate change in the healthcare industry. This new competition invites evidence based submissions of original research focused on distributed ledger technologies that transformation and disrupt ecosystem inefficiency to tackle societal issues impacting health consumers worldwide. The contest was created to nurture and groom innovators, researchers and young minds in the sector.
The purpose of the competition is to stimulate innovation and best practices in healthcare through technology. Judges expect submissions will include new blockchain architectures and applications for a trusted and personalized approach to medicine in health systems around the globe.
The contest creator, Prasad Kothari stated Similar to any other technology life cycle which starts with excitement around pilots, hype, buzzwords & marketing jargon that settle into mature scaled operations, the hype cycle of blockchain for healthcare is over and I foresee the new era of scaled blockchain applications beginning now.
The contest is affiliated with the recently announced ConVerge2Xcelerate (#ConV2X) annual health modernization and impact event. Six judges will review manuscripts to determine eligibility for publication in a Special Issue of Blockchain in Healthcare Today (BHTY) open-access international peer-review journal.
