Daniel is the CEO of Green Block Mining. He hosted bitcoin meetups in NYC for three years and has been mining for four years. Daniel grew up in Boston’s South End and sold hot dogs for ten years at nearby Fenway Park. In 1990-91, Daniel was the pitching coach for the Soviet National Baseball team. HBO made a movie about it called Comrades of Summer where Joe Mantegna played him. From 2002 to 2005 he played first base and pitched for a Russian professional baseball team sponsored by the Russian car company Moskvich. Daniel was also a Senior Attorney in the Enforcement Division of the United States Securities and Exchange Commission. He received a BA in Soviet Studies from Trinity College in Hartford, CT, a JD from from Boston University School of Law and an LL.M. in Securities and Financial Regulation from Georgetown University Law Center. Daniel currently lives in The Bronx with his wife Karen and his three boys Cash, Leo and Royi, who he hopes will one day own lots of Bitcoin and never never root for the yankees.
