Cryptocurrency prices on February 15: Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Avalanche

The worldwide cryptocurrency market capitalization on February 15 increased by 4.44 percent to USD 1.94 trillion in the last 24 hours, while trading volumes increased by 15.22 percent to USD 70.52 billion.

The currency was trading at USD 43,460.60 today morning as Bitcoin’s market domination declined by 0.12 percent to 42.47 percent.

Stablecoins accounted for 81.29 percent of the 24-hour cryptocurrency trading volume, or USD 57.33 billion, while decentralized finance (DeFi) contributed for 11.61 percent, or USD 8.19 billion.

In rupee terms, Polkadot climbed 4.68 percent to Rs 1,518.95, while Litecoin rose 3.5 percent to Rs 10,050 in the last 24 hours. Bitcoin surged 2.58 percent to Rs 34,15,167, while Ethereum increased 4.68 percent to Rs 2,38,000. Tether was trading at Rs 78.72, down 1.13 percent.

Avalanche increased 7.73 percent to Rs 6,603.6, while Cardano surged 4.11 percent to Rs 85.04. Dogecoin surged 1.68 percent to Rs 11.68, while Memecoin SHIB increased 2.96 percent. Terra (LUNA) is now trading at Rs 4,130.14, down 1.66 percent.

Bitcoin and Ethereum are currently trading at higher levels. The leading alternative coins are also running in the green, according to the market cap. The continuous tensions between Russia and Ukraine are affecting market volatility, resulting in ups and down in the cryptocurrency market, said Edul Patel, Co-founder and CEO, Mudrex.
