Cristiano Ronaldo‘s transfer back to Manchester United had sparked rumours that Edinson Cavani could be forced out, but Fabrizio Romano is reporting that the Uruguayan striker will stay on at Old Trafford and work with Ronaldo.
18:40 BST: Hazard is on Juventus’ list
Juventus have lost Cristiano Ronaldo and are now looking to the transfer market for a potential replacement. It is being reported that Eden Hazard could be an option for the Italian side, even though Carlo Ancelotti has been impressed with the Belgian so far.
18:00 BST: A busy day for Tottenham
Tottenham have been busy, signing Pape Sarr from Metz for 10m euros and then leaving him there on loan, in addition to letting Moussa Sissoko depart for Watford. They also learned their Conference League fate this Friday, so it has been a day of big news at Spurs.
17:30 BST: No Kounde in Sevilla’s squad
Sevilla play away at Elche this weekend, but Jules Kounde isn’t in the travelling squad. He has been linked with Chelsea, but Sevilla are waiting for an offer higher than 50m euros. In the meantime, he won’t be representing the Andalusian club in LaLiga Santander.
17:20 BST: Cristiano Ronaldo returns to Manchester United
Manchester United have announced that they have reached an agreement with Juventus for Cristiano Ronaldo to return to the club he left 12 years ago.
16:00 BST: Moise Kean closing in on Juventus switch
Juventus are closing in on the signing of Everton striker Moise Kean, according to Nicolo Schira. The 21-year-old, who left Juventus for Everton in the summer of 2019, will join on loan with an option to buy, which would become mandatory if certain conditions are met.
15:00 BST: Big news regarding Cristiano Ronaldo
Manchester City have broken off negotiations to try and sign Juventus forward Cristiano Ronaldo, with the 36-year-old now looking like he is more likely to join former club Manchester United, according to Fabrizio Romano.
14:30 BST: Jovic could replace Cristiano Ronaldo
Real Madrid striker Luka Jovic is one of the names that has been linked with Juventus as they look to replace Cristiano Ronaldo, say La Gazzetta dello Sport and Corriere dello Sport. The Serbian is not in Carlo Ancelotti’s plans and he is on the Bianconeri’s shortlist, along with the likes of Mauro Icardi and Moise Kean.

Real Madrid have announced that Casemiro has put pen to paper on a new contract until 2025.
13:30 BST: PSG to go all out for Haaland
Paris Saint-Germain are ready to use the 180 million euros from the sale of Kylian Mbappe to Real Madrid to try and sign Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland, according to the Telegraph. However, it’s worth remembering that several members of the PSG squad mocked Haaland’s celebration after the knocked Dortmund out of the Champions League a couple of years ago.
13:00 BST: Benitez discusses Richarlison
Richarlison has been linked with a possible move to Paris Saint-Germain if Kylian Mbappe departs for Real Madrid, but Everton boss Rafa Benitez has no intention of losing the Brazilian forward.
“We are not considering selling him. He’s our player, we’re really pleased with him, really happy, and hopefully he can score a lot of goals this year for us,” Benitez said on Richarlison.
12:30 BST: Bayern keen on Ginter
Bayern Munich are interested in signing Borussia Monchengladbach centre-back Matthias Ginter before Tuesday’s deadline, say Sky Germany. The 27-year-old has one year left to run on his contract at Gladbach.
12:00 BST: Cristiano Ronaldo leaves Juventus training ground
Cristiano Ronaldo has left Juventus’ training ground and will not take part in training this morning, Gianluca Di Marzio reports.
11:30 BST: Possible Villar-Herrera swap deal
Roma have approached Atletico Madrid as they look to sign Hector Herrera, which could lead to Gonzalo Villar heading the other way, according to reports in Italy.
11:00 BST: Manchester City will bid for Cristiano Ronaldo
Manchester City will make an offer this Friday of 25 million euros to sign Juventus forward Cristiano Ronaldo, say La Gazzetta dello Sport. Cristiano Ronaldo has already informed Juventus that he wants to leave the club. Sky Italia, meanwhile, report that the 36-year-old has agreed a two-year contract with City worth 15 million euros per season.
10:30 BST: Ilaix to Tottenham
Tottenham Hotspur have reached an agreement with Ilaix Moriba and now only need to strike a deal with Barcelona, according to the Catalan newspapers Sport and Mundo Deportivo. It is thought that the 18-year-old will cost around 20 million euros.
10:00 BST: Richarlison to replace Mbappe
Paris Saint-Germain are seeking a replacement for Kylian Mbappe, who looks set to join Real Madrid, and, according to RMC Sport and reports in England, Everton forward Richarlison is viewed as the ideal player to come in. The issue is whether Everton would sell just a few days before the end of the transfer window.
