Digital currency wallet and trading platform Coinbase and other defendants were slapped with a securities class action Tuesday in California Northern District Court. The suit, brought by WeissLaw, accuses Coinbase insiders of misleading investors regarding the company’s financial health and the resiliency of its cryptocurrency trading platform. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendants. The case is 3:21-cv-06149, Catterlin v. Coinbase Global, Inc. et al.
