The A13 in Dagenham has been shut and is causing severe traffic delays following a serious crash in the early hours of this morning (July 23).
The incident occurred at around 2.40am at the A1153 Lodge Avenue junction and emergency services remain at the scene.
Ripple Road has been closed in both directions at the Lodge Avenue flyover as an investigation into the collision continues, which is causing severe delays and queuing traffic in the surrounding area.

Traffic includes congestion back to Marsh Way heading westbound and almost back as far as the Beckton roundabout heading eastbound, equalling around five miles of queues.
