The crypto market gained on Friday as the global crypto market cap totaled $941.81 billion, rising by 2.92% over the last 24 hours. Bitcoin witnessed a price gain of 3.85%, while Ethereum climbed by 3.49%.
On Friday, the global crypto market cap witnessed an increase of 2.92 percent, amounting to $941.81 billion, while the total crypto market volume decreased by 42.23% to $87.63 billion, since the last day, as per Coinmarketcap.
Top cryptos in green
Most of the top cryptos are trading in the green today. The world’s largest crypto, Bitcoin (BTC) is priced at $19,823.52, gaining 3.81 percent over the previous day (1030 IST), while its closed peer, Ethereum (ETH) rose by 3.44 percent to $1,328.54. Other popular cryptos which witnessed a climb in their prices over the last day, included XRP, rising by 5.92 percent, Cardano, climbing by 3.65 percent, Solana, gaining by 3.90 percent, and Polygon, up by 4.98 percent, at the time of writing this article.
Presently, BTC’s dominance is at 40.34 percent, followed by ETH at 17.3 percent.
Meme coins up
Meme coins like Dogecoin (DOGE) and Shiba Inu (SHIB) were trading with gains over the last 24 hours, at 2.66 percent and 5.07 percent, respectively.
Metaverse tokens
Most of the Metaverse tokens showcased positive momentum on Friday. Popular Metaverse coins like Decentraland (MANA), The Sandbox (SAND), and Axie Infinity (AXS) are trading up by 3.66 percent, 5.40 percent, and 3.02 percent, respectively, since the last 24 hours, at the time of writing this article.
Following the release of the US’s September Consumer Price Inflation data, which was higher than anticipated, most of the cryptos traded higher on Friday.
