Liz Truss was informed of The Queen’s death at 4.30pm today, Downing Street confirmed. At lunchtime, at around 12.35pm, Buckingham Palace issue a statement saying doctors are concerned for the Queen’s health.

Ms Truss was told the news by Cabinet Secretary Simon Case. After 5pm, a fleet of cars, including a Range Rover driven by William, with Andrew in the passenger seat and Edward and Sophie in the back, arrives at Balmoral.
