Mobile blockchain MMORPG Dekaron G is headed for a wide release. The game is a rebranded version of Dekaron M intended for global launch by Unsigned Games and ThumbAge.
This new version of Dekaron is a rebranding and global version of 2021’s Dekaron M, which is a reboot and continuation of the original PC MMORPG. This new mobile version, Dekaron G, is expected to be released in Europe, America, and Southeast Asia. In addition to mobile, this release includes a PC client, so cross-platform play will be available. Dekaron G will eventually support 11 language options, including English, Spanish, Chinese, and Thai.
Rebranding the game this way separates out the global launch to have its own identity, with the G “symbolizing gold”, but also global, according to a release on the planned launch. With the inclusion of blockchain elements, the game is on WEMADE’s WEMIX platform. WEMADE has been adding titles to its portfolio over time, planning to continue onboarding more blockchain titles. Other games the company has added to its WEMIX Play platform over the past year include Bless Unleashed and Riders of Icarus.
So far, there’s not much revealed about the global version specifically other than a couple of short teaser trailers, but with Dekaron M having been open since last year, this is an expansion of that reach. There’s also nothing on how the blockchain elements will work at all, but if you’re familiar with WEMIX or blockchain MMOs, there are some guesses we can make as to what might come.
There’s no date on the planned launch or regional details yet either, as the announcement is pretty bare. For now, it looks like those who are familiar with the original Dekaron may have some idea, but the team does state there will be more details.
