Anthony Ray Strickland
A Boonville man is facing charges after allegedly breaking into a home on Wilcox Rd. in Yadkinville. According to the Yadkin County Sheriff’s Office, a call was received on March 14 in reference to a breaking and entering. Deputies were alerted that the suspect was still on the scene in the driveway of the residence.
Upon arrival, deputies located a male subject who was identified as Anthony Ray Strickland, age 34. Following an investigation Strickland was arrested and charged with one felony count of breaking and/or entering, one felony count of larceny after breaking and/or entering, and one felony count of breaking and entering a motor vehicle.
Strickland is currently being held in the Yadkin County Detention Center under a $10,000 secured bond. Strickland was scheduled to appear in Yadkin County Court on March 15.
