Relentless criticism and intense scrutiny is driving some of corporate America’s top executives to resign, according to the co-founder of Coinbase Global.
“Attacks” from media outlets, politicians and online trolls burn out business leaders, Brian Armstrong said, forcing them to quit. He cited Bill Gates, co-founder of Microsoft; Larry Page, co-founder of Google; and Jeff Bezos, founder of Amazon. None remain responsible for the day-to-day management of their respective companies.
