On Oct. 15 the Yadkin County Sheriff’s Office received a report regarding fraudulent activity on a victim’s bank account. During the investigation evidence was obtained supporting the report.
Warrants were issued on Mercedes Nicole Wright, 29 of Jonesville, for nine counts of obtaining property by false pretenses. Wright received a $10,000 Secured Bond with a court date of Nov 3.
