Cryptocurrency prices recovered on Thursday after volatility gripped the digital coin market for the past few days. The heavy selloff slowed down over the past 24 hours and experts believe the virtual market will gain momentum in the next few days.
Bitcoin, the world’s largest cryptocurrency, was trading over $43,000 or nearly 2 per cent higher than its price 24 hours ago at 3:20 pm. It was trading nearly 4 per cent higher earlier in the day.
The most popular cryptocurrency’s market capitalisation has again crossed $810 billion while the 24-hour trade volume weakened to $974.2 million.
Ether’s valuation also rose over the past 24 hours, and it was trading at $2,990 or 1.60 per cent higher than its price 24 hours ago. The cryptocurrency’s market capitalisation has increased to $351 billion and the 24-hour trading volume stood at $993.94 million.
Most other altcoins including XRP, Polkadot, Stellar, Dogecoin, Chainlink, Polygon, and Litecoin rose as market momentum improved after days of weakness.
Commenting on the cryptocurrency market, Hitesh Malviya, a cryptocurrency and investment expert, said, “Bitcoin saw a nice bounce from $41,000 support yesterday, price is heading towards $45,000 which is the next key resistance level to watch out for.”
“Ether also bounced from support, and currently trading above $3,000. We are still in unclear price territory, so we need to wait for the further price action to get developed before jumping into any trade,” he added.
Edul Patel, CEO and Co-founder of Mudrex, a global algorithm based crypto investment platform, said, “The selloff in the cryptocurrency market seems to have finally come to an end. Over the past 24 hours, we saw the total market cap rising to almost $1.96 trillion and the total traded volume also went higher.”
“The largest crypto by market capitalisation, Bitcoin, hovered around the $43,500 mark. Most of the top altcoins also made significantly large moves. The coming 24 hours could remain volatile for the cryptocurrency market,” he added.
