Area youth showcase their livestock at the annual Yadkin-Davie Youth Livestock show held at Lone Hickory Arena.
The annual Yadkin-Davie 4-H Area Livestock Show is scheduled for Saturday, August 14, starting at 12 noon. The show will be held at Lone Hickory Arena, 1950 Bethel Church Rd., in Yadkinville. Admission to the show is free.
“The Annual Yadkin-Davie 4-H Area Livestock Show is a great opportunity for local youth to showcase their animals as well as the knowledge they gain from the projects,” said Livestock Agent Phil Rucker. “Youth from Davie, Yadkin and surrounding counties will be exhibiting their beef, sheep and goats for a chance to win championships, prizes and bragging rights. Please come out and support these youth. The concession stand at Lone Hickory Arena will be open and cooking plenty of good things for you to enjoy.”
“These youth have worked hard and would appreciate your support and I believe you will have an enjoyable relaxed time. Change up your ordinary Saturday routine and come support our youth,” Rucker added.
