Arnott’s has revealed a major twist on three of its classic biscuits that will hit shelves this week.
The iconic brand is now offering Scotch Finger, Tiny Teddy and Choc Ripple biscuits in gluten-free versions.
There has been a huge demand for gluten-free products in recent years, with around 25 per cent of Aussies regularly avoiding gluten according to a recent report in the Medical Journal of Australia, and Google search queries having doubled from a decade ago.

Arnott’s said it wanted to put an end to its many gluten-free customers settling for “second-rate” snacks that “don’t taste great”.
“With millions of consumers seeking out snacks that are both gluten-free and delicious, we decided it was time to treat them to biscuits that meet their dietary requirements without compromising on taste,” Arnott’s brand manager, Graham Fairbairn said.
For those wondering if the taste and quality is compromised, Arnott’s has assured that all three biscuits have been developed to the exact taste specifications of its culinary team.
“Great care was taken to achieve a delicious flavour and texture, like the buttery crumble of Scotch Finger, or the cocoa crunch of Choc Ripple,” it said in a statement.

The biscuit brand also worked closely with Coeliac Australia to ensure the treats meet the strict requirements of its endorsement program.
The gluten-free range will be available exclusively at Woolworths from this week and can be found in the biscuit aisle for $4.70.
