Cryptocurrency exchange platform Coinbase, skin-trading platform CS.MONEY and Nubia Technology’s smartphone line Red Magic have been named partners of BLAST Rising‘s second season.
As a result of the partnership, the branding of all three partners will be featured throughout the CS:GO tournament. This includes integrated in-game promotion, giveaways, and coverage throughout.

Coinbase and CS.MONEY’s partnership is an extension of its current sponsorship deals with BLAST Premier. Meanwhile, Red Magic is returning partner after sponsoring last year’s BLAST Premier Fall Series.
Oliver Clarke, Head of Brand Partnerships for BLAST, spoke on the partnership in a release: “We are grateful to our partners in helping us provide opportunities for up-and-coming players and teams across Europe. The expansion of the tournament from 16 to 24 teams and the addition of three leading brands as partners highlights the growth BLAST Rising has enjoyed in the 12 months since it launched.
“With BLAST Rising returning for a second year after the success of the first event, we’re delighted that Coinbase, CS.MONEY and Red Magic are joining us and building on their association with BLAST Premier.”

Produced by gaming agency Fantasyexpo, BLAST Rising is a Counter-Strike tournament for aspiring teams outside the world’s top 20. According to the release, the event is part of the organiser’s commitment to ‘create a sustainable esports ecosystem that provides opportunities for a wide range of organisations.’
Starting on May 3rd, the event will feature 24 teams from 19 European countries competing for a shared prize pool of $30,000 (~£21,570).
Esports Insider says: BLAST Premier’s partnership game is truly impressive, and it’s good to see the organiser using those deals to develop its other circuits. These efforts won’t only secure more opportunities for rising teams but it also contributes to the growth of CS:GO esports.
