Neon will release Kill List director Ben Wheatley’s new horror flick In the Earth on April 16th. And today we hear the film has a fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

It sports a 77%. The Critics Consensus: In the Earth’s bleak kaleidoscope of horror is a hallucinogenic meditation on the residual pandemic fears that haunt humanity.
The MPAA gave In the Earth an R for “strong violent content, grisly images, and language.” We don’t have a trailer yet, but check out the creepy poster below!

The world searches for a cure to a disastrous virus. A scientist and park scout venture into the forest for an equipment run. Through the night, their journey becomes a terrifying voyage through the heart of darkness as the forest comes to life.
Joel Fry stars along with Ellora Torchia, Hayley Squires, Reece Shearsmith, John Hollingworth, and Mark Monero. In the Earth premiered at Sundance Film Festival.
Neon will finally unleash the terror on April 16th.
I don’t know about you but all of us here at Dread are excited as hell for In the Earth. After all, Kill List is one of the scariest movies produced in the last – well, in forever. Check it out tonight if you’ve never had the pleasure. But keep the lights on!
