Yadkin Nursing Care Center is encouraging area residents to take part in the “Shine Your Light” initiative in honor of frontline workers amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
“We are asking that the community put a candle in their window, all windows, lights outside or lights in a tree to show support for the people that are working so hard day and night during this pandemic,” said Christy Cardwell, admissions assistant at Yadkin Nursing Center. “It is our hope that as these workers go to and from work or drive around this county, they will see these lights shining brightly and will feel a sense of hope, support, encouragement and love that abounds from all over this community.
