Animoca Brands Corporation Ltd’s blockchain game F1® Delta Time launches ‘Staking’ feature

Players will be able to stake their official Formula 1® race car non-fungible tokens to earn REVV, the primary currency that will be used in F1® Delta Time and other upcoming branded motorsports games.

’s blockchain game F1® Delta Time has today launched a new staking feature on the game’s website at www.f1deltatime.com.

Following the launch players will be able to stake their official Formula 1® race car non-fungible tokens (NFTs) to earn REVV, an ERC-20 token and the primary currency for use in F1® Delta Time and other upcoming motorsports games.

REVV is currently paired with the crpto-currency Ether (ETH) and LCX Token ($LCX) on Uniswap, with Chiliz (CHZ) on the Chiliz Exchange and with Tether (USDT) on the Hotbit exchange.

REVV through staking

In F1® Delta Time all cars are NFTs and will have the ability to passively generate REVV through staking, with rarer cars generating higher amounts of REVV.

When players stake their car, they temporarily transfer the ownership of the cars to F1® Delta Time.

Players are not able to trade, sell or use the car NFT while it is staked, but instead receive REVV based on factors including the NFT’s rarity and other variables.

Five rarity levels

There are five rarity levels for cars in F1® Delta Time – Apex, Legendary, Epic, Rare and Common. Apex cars are the most rare and valuable, as only one of each is available.

F1® Delta Time F1® is a blockchain game licensed by Formula 1® and developed and published by Animoca Brands.

The game consists of a collectable component based on NFTs as well as an action racing component utilising those NFTs.

The collectable component is available now, and the action racing component will launch later in 2020.

REVV token

The token for motorsports games REVV is the ERC-20 utility token that serves as the primary currency in certain blockchain games developed and published by Animoca Brands.

REVV is designed to enable true digital ownership of game assets, giving players freedom and control over in-game property – most of which is tokenized.

Supporting games include F1® Delta Time, an upcoming blockchain game based on MotoGP™ and a third blockchain game based on a global racing franchise that will be announced soon.

REVV supporting games will be connected by a shared economy made possible by the REVV token, which is designed to be the currency of purchase, utility and action for multiple game titles.
