New Options to Protect Your Privacy
Coinbase has announced its integration with blockchain domain provider Unstopped Domains to support “.crypto” domains when using Coinbase’s Wallet.
With this addition, Coinbase users can now register and store “.crypto” domains, as well as send payments via blockchain domain instead of cryptographic addresses.
According to the co-founder of Unstoppable Domains Brad Kam, Coinbase Wallet is the first platform to offer an all in one solution for all cryptocurrencies.
Coinbase Wallet supports “.crypto” domains in Bitcoin (BTC), Ether (ETH), as well as any currencies supported by the wallet.
“By supporting blockchain domains, Coinbase is single-handedly moving this market into the crypto mainstream. Blockchain domains will be a standard that all crypto wallets use in the near future,”, Mr. Kam added.
Founded in 2018, Unstoppable Domains is backed by well-known investors, including Draper Associates and Boost VC.
The San Francisco-based company also has received grants from the Ethereum Foundation and Zilliqa Foundation.
