Overheard on Twitter

Over on Twitter, here were the top tweets about Litecoin:

  • From SatoshiLite:

I’ve braced myself for the hate, but this joke was just too good to pass up! 😂Joke aside, Litecoin launched when there was already a large vibrant crypto community. So it’s extremely unlikely any early miners mined anywhere close to 5% of the coins like Satoshi allegedly did.

  • From dgb_chilling:

I can do you one better. Let’s hypothesize that both the $LTC and $DGB blocks are *also* full to the same extent. Mempool will empty both 4x (LTC) and 40x (DGB) faster than #Bitcoin, but tx costs at current USD$ coin values would be 0.06 for #Litecoin or $0.00002 for #DigiByte 🤯

  • From dgb_chilling:

To add to the mix, #Litecoin would be a little over USD$0.02 for 5000 Sats, and a 2.5 minute conf time being 10x longer compared to #DigiByte . That is definitely more cost-effective than #Bitcoin but the raw on-chain scaling of $DGB is clearly a winner… 🥰
