Calling all #TRON hodlers! Let’s come together and battle against #EOS & #ETH! https://t.co/Qe1kFGBbDn— Justin Sun (@justinsuntron) April 17, 2020
Since moving to TRON mainnet, Justin Sun has been creating different ideas to hijack the dapp world from Ethereum and EOS.
At the time of this publication, the number of TRON Dapps has reached 740 with 8 new ones added this week.
The growth signifies that the TRON Dapp ecosystem is growing as the network welcomes more users and developers.
Relationship Between Justin Sun and Ethereum’s Vitalik Buterin
The intellectual fight between Justin Sun and Ethereum’s Vitalik Buterin gained extra weight this week when the CEO of TRON was accused by IPFS creator of plagiarism. IPFS CEO, Juan Benet, said Justin stole his firm’s original logo, codes, and papers.
He said Justin Sun, who owns BitTorrent, rebranded his properties purposely to “defraud their investors with a nonsensical mishmash.”
IPFS made this known not long after Justin Sun announced that BitTorrent File System (BTFS) has rebranded its logo. The rebranded logo was alleged to be the idea and visions of IPFS.
“…it’s not enough to fork all our code, rebrand it and lie its theirs; copy paste random chunks of our papers, and defraud their investors with a nonsensical mishmash. Tron also can’t even think of an original logo”
Justin Sun, who was saddened by the allegation fired few shorts at the IPFS creator, saying the Hexagon shape, which was used by BTFS belongs to no one.
“You’re a vaporware scamming your investors, Justin Sun said.
“You need to reexamine your ego bro. A shame that IPFS hasn’t delivered on filecoin system in 3 years & BTFS BTT have been running smoothly.”
After the disceptation, co-founder of Ethereum, Vitalik Buterin, weighed in on the matter noting that Justin Sun has grown up with the attitude.
He said: “This tweet is honestly painful to read. It’s like looking at a zombie: the account *looks like* something you’ve grown up with and known and loved for 15 years, but underneath it’s just, well, now it’s just another appendage of the Sun dictatorship.”
